Orphanage in Kyiv evacuated at the beginning of the war in Ukraine

At the very beginning of the war in Ukraine, Ariana was contacted by the Polish Institute in Warsaw to help evacuate an orphanage in Kyiv. It was a painstaking process. No one knew how to do it. The will was there. The efforts to coordinate the children's escape is a story in itself. Here is a photo of the escapees at the central train station in Warsaw.
